  • Bookkeeping

    Accurate bookkeeping is the basis for any successful business. Using the double entry system I will record and maintain information concerning receipts, invoices, payments and purchases. Reconciling bank and petty cash accounts and creating Debtor and Creditor reports when required.

  • VAT Returns

    Using software that is compliant with Making Tax Digital I will calculate your VAT liability and file quarterly returns with HMRC in a timely manner, to avoid any costly fines. 


    If you are not currently VAT registered, and your business growth increases, I will let you know when you are near the threshold for registering and will sign you up to VAT.

  • Payroll Management

    I will register your company as an Employer where required, and take care of your PAYE submissions, Payslips, P45's and P60's.

  • Management Accounts

    As long as your receipts are with me in a timely manner I will produce monthly Profit & Loss Reports, along with comparisons on a monthly/yearly basis, so you can see exactly how your business is thriving and if there are any areas which may require attention. 

  • Self-Assessment Tax Returns

    I can prepare and file your Self-Assessment Tax Return with HMRC. If I am performing monthly account management, I will let you know once your profit exceeds your tax free allowance and advise you monthly on your Income Tax and National Insurance liabilities. 


    This service is also available for anyone needing to report a Capital Gain, declare dividends or any other income received through the year that isn't dealt with through a PAYE system. 


    It is available to monthly and ad hoc clients alike.

  • Production of Final Accounts

    This is one step further than management accounts and provides you with an Income statement, Statement of Financial Position and a cash flow statement (dependent upon the Financial Reporting Standard in use). These financial statements provide an overview of your companies financial position at a moment in time and are what investors will wish to see. They are usually provided yearly but can be more frequent should you wish.


    I will go through these with you so that you can understand exactly how your business is doing.

  • Corporation Tax Returns

     This service is available for Micro businesses and Small businesses following the Financial Reporting Standards FRS105 and FRS102. It includes submission of your Annual Accounts to Companies House

Software

I currently work with FreeAgent, Xero and Sage and am open to work with a different software if it is the best solution for your business. (Please note: Quickbooks is not used within this practice).
